From ideation to financing with the DALIA DIVING CENTER cooperative
The situation
DALIA DIVING CENTER is a cooperative — a structure with real advantages and one real difficulty: decisions are collective, which makes the discipline of a business model harder to impose and more valuable once it holds.
The cooperative came to M&2N at the ideation phase. Not with a business needing improvement, but with an idea needing to become one.
What we did
The engagement ran through our incubation practice and covered the full distance from ideation to financing — the sequence in which most early-stage projects fail, and fail quietly.
The Secretary General’s account identifies what the cooperative valued: active listening, and a practical capacity to help them work through their own obstacles rather than around them. The framing matters — the cooperative describes M&2N as helping them map their path, not walking it for them. That is the intended outcome of the practice.
The relationship did not end at financing. The cooperative is now in the acceleration phase and continues to work with us, which is the part the firm regards as the actual result: post-financing support is where most incubation relationships stop and where most early businesses need them most.
In the client’s words
As a cooperative, we were supported by M&2N Consulting’s incubation practice from the ideation phase right through to securing financing.
Their support was invaluable — active listening and a real ability to help us work through our challenges, which let us map out our own path toward excellence.
We are now in the acceleration phase and still call on M&2N Consulting: a long-term partnership that is a real mark of success in post-financing entrepreneurship support.
