Training
Tailored programmes in trade, logistics and entrepreneurship — in person, online, or both.
Training is not the soft half of this firm. It is where a large part of our impact is, because a recommendation reaches one organisation while a well-built programme reaches every organisation in the room — and, when we train trainers, every room they go on to run.
What we teach
Trade facilitation. Export processes and procedures, documentation, rules of origin, Incoterms, customs practice, and the workings of the AfCFTA. Our most requested subject and the one closest to our advisory practice.
Marketing and logistics. Commercial and supply-chain fundamentals for businesses whose margin lives in the gap between the two — pricing, channel, distribution, and the logistics decisions that quietly determine both.
Entrepreneurship. Business modelling, financing readiness and the operating discipline of a young company. Delivered to founders directly, and to the institutions that support them.
We also teach in academic settings, contribute study cases, and deliver continuing professional education alongside business schools and sector academies.
How we deliver
In person. Workshop format, small groups, real cases from the participants’ own businesses rather than generic examples.
Online. Structured courses for participants who cannot be in a room for four days.
Hybrid. In practice this is now the default for multi-day institutional programmes, and it is what we used in Ouagadougou: face-to-face sessions combined with online modules and a digital methodology, so the material outlives the week.
Train the trainer. Where a programme needs to reach further than we can go ourselves, we train the local institutions who will deliver it. This is how development mandates achieve scale, and it is the format most of our institutional work takes.
Tailored, not catalogued
We do not run a fixed course catalogue. Programmes are built for the group — their sector, their markets, their actual constraints — which is why the design conversation matters more than the booking.
Every programme is designed around the group it is for. Tell us who needs training and why, and we will propose a shape.
Tell us what is actually happening.
Most engagements start with a problem that does not yet have a clean name. You do not need a brief, a budget or a defined scope to begin the conversation.
